Ambassador Yin Chengwu Attends Donation Ceremony of Medical and Living Materials to JFD Hospital

On November 17 Ambassador Yin Chengwu attended the ceremony of donating medical and living materials to JFD Hospital in Tapeta, Nimba County. Representatives of JFD Hospital and the 16th batch of Chinese medical team joined the ceremony.
Ambassador Yin fully affirmed the achievements of JFD Hospital in recent years and emphasized that the Chinese side would continuously support the development of the hospital and further develop cooperation with the Liberian side in the fields of medicine and healthcare, so as to promote China-Liberia cooperation and to build a community of health for all.
Dr. Dollo of JFD Hospital thanked the Chinese side for their generous donation to the Hospital, and said that the hospital would further play its role as a bridge of China-Liberia friendship, and benefit the people.
JFD Hospital is one of China-aid projects, and was handed over to the Liberian government in 2010. Over the past 13 years of operation, the hospital has become the largest referral hospital in the sub-region and the designated hospital for the treatment of COVID-19, which has been highly lauded by the Liberian government and the public.
